Our efforts have produced awards from the City of Chicago’s Treasurer’s Office and the Illinois Technology Association, as well as, an invitation to participate in the University of Chicago’s New Venture Laboratory.

Transcend Innovation Group was founded by David Burns. Prior to leading Transcend, David served as a managing consultant for IBM Global Service's Usability Engineering National Practice and manager of the Multimedia User Interface Design Team at Motorola. He’s currently an adjunct instructor within the Human Computer Interaction program at DePaul University. David has a Master of Engineering degree in computer science from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the University of Illinois - Urbana/Champaign.
